Palghat Management Association (PMA) has organized a Webinar titled “Critical Thinking for Managers”. The session was presented by Dr Deepa Venu Gopal, Associate Professor, DJ Academy for Managerial Excellence, Coimbatore. At present the world is going through unimaginable changes and one of the management skills to handle this type of crisis is the idea of critical thinking which can make a decision maker well equipped to face management challenges. By doing this not only it helps the organization but at the individual level also. Critical thinking helps us to bring a balance in our viewpoints, interpret situations and surroundings more appropriately, take sound decisions and produce effective results. The webinar discussed on ego centrism and socio centrism and given an idea on how to define the problem correctly. The session was well attended and received by PMA members.
